Description

This is a portrait of Kendrick Lamar I did in 2013/2014 after attending my firs concert of him in February 2013 at the Komplex 457 in Zurich. He is one of my favorite artists. Listening to his music for the first time back in 2012, changed my whole way of thinking and feeling about music and art. It felt like I got into a new sphere. Somehow it was that moment where I noticed that I want and need to share my talent with others, not only to inspire them but also to share my point of view about a lot of topics, issues, and much more.

Everytime I press play to Kendrick‘s music. It spurs me on and I feel like I have to draw. That‘s why I started to draw this portrait of him almost automatically.
