Description

In the painting series «Faces», the focus was on facial expressions. Precise but rough brushstrokes create space for the viewer’s own creative imagination. However, the facial expression of the person portrayed generally conveys a sensual and profound aura. The series was inspired by the work of the well-known artist «Henrik Aa. Uldalen».

In the painting «Faces Pt. 1 – 5» the aim was to integrate the faces of people with different genders and cultural backgrounds and to put them all into the same context. The underlying message: we are all human and love is love.
