General Information

  • Duration: Exhibitions typically last 1 to 2 weeks. The handovers (start and end of contract) take place at 18:00.

  • Suspension systems: The gallery has a system with rails and perlon ropes that are fully available to the hirer. For easier hanging and straightening, we recommend only one prong hanger with screws (centered) per picture. The works must be delivered to the gallery ready to hang. No nails may be attached to the wall.

  • Equipment: Exhibitors can use a small refrigerator, a coffee machine, an aperitif table, a music system and a window easels.

  • Delivery of works: by appointment

  • Mounting / hanging: In each case together with Janosh CT.

  • Opening hours: On the exhibition days between the handovers (see “Duration”), the opening hours can be freely chosen between 09:00 and 21:00. The person designated in the contract receives a key and is responsible for supervising the exhibition.

  • Support: Event support at the vernissage or finissage is included.

  • Insurance: All works exhibited in the gallery are insured for the duration of the contract up to a value of CHF 20,000 (less deductible). Damage caused by changes to the agreed hanging without consultation with the gallery or without supervision by Janosh CT are excluded from the insurance. Transportation insurance is not included and is the sole responsibility of the person listed in the contract.

  • Liability: The person listed in the conctract is liable for any damage to the gallery’s inventory during the rental period of his exhibition.

  • Key handover: The gallery key will be handed over to the tenant on the first day against a deposit of CHF 100, which will be refunded to the tenant when the key is returned on the last day.

  • General house rules: Activities that endanger the safety of people or objects and premises and disturb the general peace and quiet or the statutory rest periods must be refrained from. Live musical performances with amplification or noisy activities are also not permitted, as the gallery is located in a residential building. Failure to comply with the gallery’s instructions in this regard may result in the immediate cancellation of the rental agreement.
