Really Love

Description

“Really Love” is a collaborative work by the close friends and artists Janosh CT and Solo Pace. Although their artistic styles are in stark contrast – Janosh CT moves within the expressive-realist realm, while Solo Pace works with reduced, abstract line figures – they share a deep artistic and personal understanding. What separates their styles merges here into a complex and dynamic composition.

The edges of the painting are animated by Solo Pace’s characteristic line figures – minimalist, yet expressive. Individual hearts, a recurring motif in his work, have been filled in with red paint by Janosh CT. Even along the margins, a subtle connection between the two artistic languages begins to emerge – a first visual dialogue between abstraction and painterly expression.

At the center of the work is a woman in red lingerie, painted by Janosh CT. Her sensual gaze and the dissolved, expressive style give the scene a fragile intensity. Negative space within the painting forms spontaneous heart shapes. The woman’s pose – especially the hand that covers her intimate area – carries an erotic depth. The veins in her hand create a structure that evokes associations with the female sex. The moment appears intimate, vulnerable, and yet powerful.

“Really Love” demonstrates how opposites in art can not only coexist, but also enhance one another. It is a meeting of two artistic voices – minimal and abundant, playful and sensual – grounded in friendship and mutual respect.
